Research Interests: statistical design and analysis of clinical trials, and application of causal inference in generating real world evidence.

Bio and Featured works:
Dr. Seo Young Park received her PhD in Statistics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2010. She began her career as a Research Associate (Assistant Professor) at the University of Chicago from 2010 to 2011 before moving to the University of Pittsburgh, where she served as an Assistant Professor and then an Associate Professor in Medicine from 2011 to 2018. In 2018, Dr. Park returned to South Korea and worked as a Research Associate Professor at Asan Medical Center, University of Ulsan College of Medicine, until 2021. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics and Data Science at Korea National Open University. Dr. Park collaborates with clinical scientists across a range of specialties, including radiology, rheumatology, cardiology, and surgery.
